
Interfolio Instructions for Department Faculty Members
This page has instructions about using Interfolio for faculty members who are participating in the review of a faculty colleague.
Once the case is ready for you to review, you’ll receive an email from your Department Chair (via Interfolio). You can click the link in the email to go directly to the case in Interfolio, or, log in to Interfolio and access the case from your Home page. Either way, you’ll need to log in to Interfolio with your Lehigh credentials.
To review the candidate, you’ll need to complete the following steps. (See additional details below.)
- Read the review case
- Communicate your vote to your Department Chair
- For reappointment, tenure, and promotion cases: Email your signed, individual letter to your Department Chair
Note: Starting in AY25-26, faculty members do not need to record their individual votes in Interfolio. They will communicate their votes to their Department Chair outside of Interfolio, and the Chair will record the vote tally in Interfolio.

The steps below will show you how to open a review packet (i.e., dossier) in Interfolio, read it, and annotate it.
