Interfolio Instructions for Special Committee Chairs and Members

This page has instructions about using Interfolio for faculty members who are serving on (or chairing) the special committee for a faculty colleague with a joint appointment.

Once the case is ready for you to review, you’ll receive an email from the Chair of the candidate’s home department (via Interfolio). You can click the link in the email to go directly to the case in Interfolio, or, log in to Interfolio and access the case from your Home page. Either way, you’ll need to log in to Interfolio with your Lehigh credentials.

To review the candidate, you’ll need to complete the following steps. (See additional details below.)

  • Read the review case
  • Record your vote
  • For reappointment, tenure, and promotion cases: Email your signed, individual letter to the special committee chair
  • If you are the special committee chair: Email the signed, individual letters to the Department Chair

The steps below will show you how to open a review packet (i.e., dossier) in Interfolio, read it, and annotate it.

 

Recording Your Vote

The steps below will show you how to record your vote in Interfolio, if you are a member or chair of a special committee for a candidate with a joint appointment.
