Interfolio at Lehigh

What is Interfolio?

Interfolio is a module-based Faculty Information System that supports all stages of the faculty and academic professionals’ lifecycle at Lehigh.

Interfolio will:  

• Streamline processes that the Office of the Provost carries out in collaboration with other academic units. 
• Integrate with key institutional systems to optimize data management and build operational efficiencies. 
• Provide authorized users with self-service access to faculty data. 

The Modules

The Interfolio project was carried out in a phased approach. Lehigh has implemented the Interfolio Faculty Information System product suite, which includes the following modules:

• Review, Promotion and Tenure (RPT) - Streamlines and centralizes data collection with electronic forms and workflows to support and track academic review processes from end to end.
• Faculty Search (FS) - Covers the entire academic recruitment process – including the job board and applications, applicant support, confidential letters and recommendations.
• Lifecycle Management (LM) - Manages scholar career paths, assists in the planning of upcoming faculty career milestones, and tracks academic appointments across the institution.
