What is Interfolio?

Interfolio is a module-based Faculty Information System that supports all stages of the faculty and academic professionals’ lifecycle at Lehigh.

Interfolio will:

  • Be a central hub for faculty and academic professional information including CVs.
  • Streamline processes that the Office of the Provost carries out in collaboration with other academic units.
  • Integrate with key institutional systems to optimize data management and build operational efficiencies.
  • Provide authorized users with self-service access to faculty data.

The Modules

The Interfolio project will be carried out in a phased approach. Lehigh will be implementing the Interfolio Faculty Information System product suite, which includes the following modules:

  • Review, Promotion and Tenure (RPT) - Streamlines and centralizes data collection with electronic forms and workflows to support and track academic review processes from end to end.
  • Faculty Activity Reporting (FAR) - Provides a central hub for collecting and storing activity data and supporting materials including up-to-date CVs for all Lehigh academics.
  • Faculty Search (FS) - Covers the entire academic recruitment process – including the job board and applications, applicant support, confidential letters and recommendations.

The Project Phases by Module

Phase I - Review, Promotion & Tenure (RPT) Module

Work on this module began in May 2024 and should be completed mid-summer around July 2024.

Phase II - Faculty Activity Reporting (FAR) Module

Work on this module will begin once the RPT module is complete this summer and will continue until the end of the fall 2024 semster.

Phase III - Faculty Search (FS) Module

Once both the RPT and FAR modules are complete, we will begin work on the Faculty Search module in early Spring 2025.
