Lehigh's Faculty ePortfolio System

Lyterati is an electronic storage system that allows faculty members to record their accomplishments in the areas of research, teaching and service and is used for generating faculty Professional Activity Reports (PAR). 

The system is also used for the following:

  • Annual Reviews
  • Reappointments
  • Second Reappointments
  • Professor of Practice Reappointments
  • Promotion and Tenure
  • Triennial Reviews
  • Promotion to Full

Data loads from Banner to Lyterati are done on a routine basis to aid in the maintenance of the system.

PAR 2018 - 2021: Letter from Provost Urban

Dear Colleagues,

We are writing to inform you that the 2018-2021 PAR process is on schedule for submission in January 2022.

As a reminder, we delayed the PAR process during the pandemic, and are now back on track with the 2018-2021 PAR schedule to incorporate four years of data--2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. PAR remained open throughout 2020 and 2021 for faculty to input scholarly contributions.

Within each of the Research, Teaching, and Service areas, there is now a free-form text box that can be used to include any extraordinary efforts or accomplishments related to the pandemic. The text box is titled, Extraordinary Efforts / Accomplishments Relating to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Below is the schedule for the 2018-2021 PAR:

  • PAR remains open, and faculty should continue to input their scholarly contributions;
  • January 10, 2022 - PAR submit button active and available;
  • January 17, 2022 - faculty final deadline to submit PAR to department chair;
  • February 7, 2022 - department chair deadline to submit PAR to dean;
  • March 7, 2022 - dean deadline for submitting PAR reviews.
