  • AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accredits the College of Business and Economics.
  • ABET (the initials A.B.E.T formerly stood for Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, but the name of the organization is now just ABET, Inc.) accredits individual degree programs in the College of Engineering and Applied Science as well as the BS in Computer Science in Arts and Sciences and the Computer Science and Business program.
  • APA (American Psychological Association) accredits the Counseling Psychology and School Psychology programs in the College of Education.
  • The National Association of School Psychologists also accredits the School Psychology program.
  • The Pennsylvania Department of Education certifies our programs for preparing elementary teachers, secondary teachers in a range of disciplines, special education teachers, school and school district administrators, guidance counselors, and school psychologists.
  • NAST (National Association of Schools of Theatre, a member agency of the Council of Arts Accrediting Associations) accredits the Theatre Department.
  • The ACS (American Chemical Society) approves the Chemistry Department's curriculum.
  • The NCAA (National Collegiate Athletics Association) certifies the Athletics Department.
