Interfolio Instructions for Department Faculty Members

This page has instructions about using Interfolio for faculty members who are participating in the review of a faculty colleague.

Once the case is ready for you to review, you’ll receive an email from your Department Chair (via Interfolio). You can click the link in the email to go directly to the case in Interfolio, or, log in to Interfolio and access the case from your Home page. Either way, you’ll need to log in to Interfolio with your Lehigh credentials.

To review the candidate, you’ll need to complete the following steps. (See additional details below.)

  • Read the review case
  • Record your vote
  • For reappointment, tenure, and promotion cases: Email your signed, individual letter to your Department Chair

The steps below will show you how to open a review packet (i.e., dossier) in Interfolio, read it, and annotate it.

 

Recording Your Vote

The steps below will show you how to record your vote in Interfolio.

Note: For the 2024-5 cycle, votes for term faculty reappointments (e.g., for Teaching Assistant Professors) will be conducted outside of Interfolio and reported by the Department Chair. Faculty will not record their votes in Interfolio. Therefore, you can ignore this item for term faculty reappointments in 2024-5.
